An Annual Maintenance Contract keeps your CCTV system healthy — but pricing is all over the place, from a few hundred rupees per camera to flat annual packages. Here's how AMC pricing really works so you don't overpay or get a hollow contract.
AMCs come in two types: non-comprehensive (you pay for parts, the contract covers labour and visits) and comprehensive (parts and labour both included, at a higher fee). Expect roughly ₹150–₹400 per camera per year for a non-comprehensive plan and more for comprehensive, depending on system size, brand and the number of preventive visits.
What a Good AMC Must Include
Insist on a written scope: number of preventive visits per year, guaranteed response time for breakdowns, camera cleaning and re-alignment, DVR/NVR and hard-disk health checks, firmware updates, and storage/backup verification. The cheapest AMC is worthless if no one shows up when a camera dies before an incident. SecureVision offers transparent comprehensive and non-comprehensive AMC plans covering Hikvision, CP Plus, Dahua and Honeywell systems — including setups we didn't originally install.
